The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 5:02 AM, mobilizing three fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene.
Firefighters worked to secure structural damage at the commercial building, with no reported casualties. Emergency crews remained on site for over four hours, leaving at 9:21 AM after a structural engineer assessed the building.
The evaluation determined the damage was superficial, despite initial reports describing the incident as a “major explosion.”
