UPDATE JANUARY 16 2026:
According to Arrowhead there has been a key issue detected on this new Warbond, so it has been delayed until further notice.
Greetings, Helldivers.
During final testing for the Warbond, we found a key issue that didn’t meet our standards for a release. We’re taking some extra time to get it fixed, so the Redacted Regiment Warbond is going to be delayed.
We’re sorry for the change in plans, but we…

Original Article:
Arrowhead Game Studios revealed this January 13 the official details for Helldivers 2’s latest Premium Warbond: Redacted Regiment.
Launching January 20, the new content pack trades orbital bombardments and heavy artillery for suppressed weapons, stealth armor, and tactical gear designed for covert operations.
The trailer showcases spec ops equipment that finally lets players spread democracy quietly, if blowing things up with C4 counts as subtle.
Weapons built for silent strikes
Redacted Regiment introduces three new firearms focused on stealth gameplay. The R-72 Censor is a mid-range precision rifle with an integrated suppressor for taking out enemies undetected.
For closer engagements, the AR-59 Suppressor offers fully automatic fire with a non-removable suppressor. Both primary weapons keep your position hidden, assuming Arrowhead makes suppressors actually function this time, the Halo ODST Warbond’s silenced weapons still triggered enemy detection, leaving players hoping for mechanical stealth improvements rather than purely cosmetic attachments.
The secondary weapon completes the loadout: the P-35 Re-Educator fires darts containing a chemical agent that causes delirium in organic targets like Terminids and Illuminates, while inducing malfunction in Automatons.
The warbond also includes the B/MD C4 Pack stratagem, a backpack loaded with six adhesive charges that can be detonated individually or simultaneously, and the TM-01 Lure Mine, a throwable that attracts enemies with lights and sounds before exploding when they get close.
Armor and gear for ghost operations
Two new armor sets feature the Reduced Signature passive, which cuts noise levels and enemy detection range. The RS-89 Shadow Paragon light armor comes packed with tactical pouches for equipment, while the RS-67 Null Cipher medium armor includes radar-absorbent polymer coating to turn players into sensor ghosts.
Both sets pair with the Pillar of the Abyss and Triangulation Veil capes.
Additional content includes the Target Sighted victory pose, [Redacted] player title, and the Concealed Insertion booster that deploys a smokescreen when Hellpods impact, covering both manned and unmanned drops. The warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits and contains 19 unlockable items.
The Redacted Regiment Warbond launches January 20, at 10am UTC on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, alongside expected updates to game performance.
Whether Arrowhead delivers functional stealth mechanics or another batch of cosmetic suppressors remains to be seen, but the loadout offers Helldivers their best shot yet at tactical infiltration.
