New Isekai anime “All-Works Maid” reveals release window in first teaser

All-Works Maid Anime Confirms July 2026 Premiere With First Teaser at AnimeJapan

At an official stage event held at the D Anime Store booth during AnimeJapan 2026 on March 22, the anime adaptation of Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! debuted its first teaser trailer and confirmed a July 2026 premiere in Japan as part of the summer anime season. The announcement also came packed with new cast and staff details that have fans of the original light novel paying close attention.

Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream the series internationally, covering worldwide audiences with the exception of Japan, China, and Korea. So Western fans won’t have to go hunting for it.

A Maid with superpowers she doesn’t even know about

The premise is simple but genuinely fun. The story follows Melody, a reincarnated Japanese girl who works as a magical maid for a count’s family in the kingdom of Théolas. She’s not here for romance or adventure, she just wants to be the best maid in the world. When she’s on the job, even cheap tea turns into a luxury brew and a dilapidated mansion gets restored to perfect condition. Cleaning, serving, hunting, DIY, Melody does it all, and she does it with conviction.

The twist is what makes the whole thing work. Unbeknownst to Melody, this world is actually an otome game, and she is the most powerful and invincible heroine, the saint, yet she remains completely oblivious to this fact. Romance with handsome nobles? Pass. Attacks from the Demon Lord? That can wait. There’s a floor to mop. It’s a comedic setup that plays out naturally from the character rather than feeling forced, which is exactly the kind of isekai comedy that tends to land well with audiences.

The story originally began as a web novel in 2017 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website and was officially published by TO Books in 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Keiko began serialization in 2022. The franchise has been growing steadily ever since, and the light novel series released its ninth volume on April 1, 2026. There’s no shortage of source material for the anime to work with.

The production team and full cast revealed

Naoya Murakawa is directing the anime, with Shinji Ishihira, known for his work as chief director on Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, serving in the same role here. Series composition is handled by Toshizo Nemoto, character design by Eri Tokugawa, and music by Ken Ito. Animation production falls to EMT Squared.

On the voice cast side, Yume Miyamoto stars as Melody, Rumi Okubo plays Luciana, Kohei Amasaki voices Christopher von Theorus, and Yoko Hikasa portrays Annemarie. Hikasa is a recognizable name for any longtime anime fan, she is best known for voicing Rias Gremory in High School DxD and Mio Akiyama in K-On!, so her addition to the cast is a welcome one.

The anime will air on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji and will also be available on d Anime Store in Japan. International viewers can catch it on Crunchyroll when it drops in July.

What to expect from the teaser

The teaser revealed at AnimeJapan 2026 gives a first look at the show’s visual tone and energy, and it does a solid job of selling the concept. The contrast between Melody’s absolute dedication to her work and the epic fantasy world completely failing to pull her attention is front and center, and that’s the right call. That dynamic is the heart of the comedy, and the teaser makes clear the production understands that.

New Isekai anime "All-Works Maid" reveals release window in first teaser

EMT Squared isn’t the biggest name in the industry, but the studio has experience with fantasy and comedy titles, and the character designs look expressive enough to carry the comedic reactions the show will rely on heavily. With a chief director who has handled large-scale shonen productions and a solid cast locked in, All-Works Maid looks well-positioned heading into the summer season.

For fans who enjoy isekai stories built around personality and humor rather than power levels and battle arcs, this one is shaping up to be one of the more interesting picks of Summer 2026. July is closer than it seems.
