LEGO and The Pokémon Company International unveiled today their first-ever collaboration bringing five iconic Pokémon to brick form.
The announcement arrives just weeks before Pokémon’s massive 30th anniversary celebration, with pre-orders opening immediately and official launch set for February 27, Pokémon Day itself.
The initial wave delivers three building sets featuring fan favorites Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
This marks a historic moment for both franchises, finally merging two of the most beloved brands in pop culture after years of fan demands and speculation.
The iconic trio takes center stage
The crown jewel is undoubtedly the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set, a 6,838-piece behemoth priced at $649.99. This display piece recreates the three Kanto starter evolutions for the first time in LEGO form, each with unique articulation and authentic design details.
The massive set includes an action base with hidden easter eggs and biome-inspired elements for each Pokémon, allowing builders to display them together or separately.
The mid-tier offering features Pikachu and Poké Ball, capturing the franchise’s most iconic moment: Pikachu leaping from its Poké Ball ready for battle. This 2,050-piece set costs $199.99 and includes a black lightning rod base with energy effects and the number 25 built into the display, a nod to Pikachu’s Pokédex number. Builders can pose Pikachu in dynamic battle stance or seated with a closed Poké Ball.
Rounding out the lineup is Eevee at $59.99 with 587 pieces.
The Normal-type Pokémon features movable tail, head, and limbs, letting fans pose this beloved creature either at rest or ready to pounce.
Exclusive bonuses and trainer challenges
LEGO sweetens the deal with two promotional sets. The Kanto Region Badge Collection gift with purchase comes free when pre-ordering the big trio set between February 27 and March 8, 2026.
This 312-piece display recreates all eight gym badges from the original games. Meanwhile, LEGO Insiders can redeem a Mini Pokémon Center for 2,600 points starting launch day.
The partnership also launches an interactive scavenger hunt running from January 12 through February 27.
Trainers hunt for digital clues across LEGO and Pokémon channels to unlock rewards, including a grand prize trip to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, complete with Championship Sunday access at Chase Center and all three new sets.
This collaboration represents years of anticipation from fans who grew up with both franchises.
With February 27 marking three decades since Pokémon Red and Green launched in Japan in 1996, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for this brick-building adventure.
