The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has re-listed Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PC after quietly removing the initial registration back in November.
The U.S. age rating organization briefly revealed the PC version of Kojima Productions’ latest game through a listing that disappeared shortly after going live, but now it’s back, suggesting the port is moving forward.

Neither Sony nor Hideo Kojima’s studio have officially announced a PC version. However, PlayStation has been releasing nearly all its exclusives on PC roughly a year after their console debuts, making a PC port likely despite the silence.
The Kojima Productions factor
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach sits in a unique position. Sony publishes and partially funds the game, but Kojima Productions remains an independent studio. This matters because it could affect how and when the PC version arrives.
The original Death Stranding launched on PS4 in November 2019, with Sony handling the console release. The PC version followed in July 2020, published by 505 Games instead of Sony.
Whether Death Stranding 2’s PC version will be published by Sony, a third-party publisher, or Kojima Productions itself remains unknown.
It’s increasingly common for independent developers to partner with publishers for console releases while self-publishing on PC, which could explain the ESRB’s back-and-forth with the listing.
When can PC players expect it?
The ESRB re-listing is the strongest hint yet that PC players will eventually get their chance with Kojima’s latest surreal adventure. If Sony follows its usual pattern with PlayStation exclusives, the wait shouldn’t be too long.
