The wait is finally over for those who missed out on the iconic Helldivers 2 and Killzone collaboration. Arrowhead Game Studios and Guerrilla Games have announced the return of this fan-favorite crossover, but this time with a permanent twist and a more accessible price point.
Starting December 18 at 7 AM PT, the Helldivers 2 x Killzone content will be available as a Legendary Warbond for 1,500 Super Credits. What makes this particularly exciting is that the developers listened to community feedback and restructured the entire offering to make it fairer and more rewarding for all players.

What’s included in the Warbond
Players will get their hands on three powerful weapons from the Stål armory. The StA-52 Assault Rifle leads the pack with its high-capacity drum magazine, perfect for laying down sustained fire against the enemies of democracy. The StA-11 SMG brings close-quarters devastation with its helical-feed magazine design, while the PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle delivers precision burst-fire damage after a brief charging period.

The armor selection includes two distinct sets, each with the valuable Acclimated passive ability that provides 50% resistance against fire, gas, acid, and electrical damage. The AC-1 Dutiful heavy armor comes equipped with a breathing apparatus, ideal for harsh planetary environments. Meanwhile, the AC-2 Obedient offers light armor mobility that snipers and stealth players will appreciate. Both armors come with their respective capes: The Strength in Our Arms and Defender of Our Dream.

New content and fair pricing
Beyond the returning items, Arrowhead sweetened the deal with brand-new Extrasolar Ash patterns for Exosuits, FRVs, Hellpods, and Pelicans. The pricing structure shows real consideration for the community. Anyone who previously purchased even a single Killzone item will receive the entire Legendary Warbond completely free, with previously owned items already unlocked. Players who only received the gifted items from December 2024 will need to pay the 1,500 Super Credits, but those gifted items will be automatically unlocked upon purchase.
This approach demonstrates how live service games can evolve based on player feedback while respecting those who supported the content early on. The December 18 launch gives players a week to prepare their Super Credits before diving into this nostalgic collaboration.
